The Window Scenic Vista - The window at the Chisos Basin in Big Bend National Park with the lovely mountains and blue sky and nice clouds on this day. Looking from the outside in you can see the Casa Grande inside the window of the Chisos Mountain range. The Chisos mountains are the heart of the Big Bend National Park they extend twenty miles from Punta de la Sierra in the southwest to Panther Junction in the northeast. It is the only mountain range totally contained within a single national park. The highest peak in the area are Emory Peak at 7835 feet and the Lost Mine Peak at 7535 but Casa Grande comes in at 7326 so it is one of the taller peaks. The window is located in the Chisos Basin where the Chisos lodges has the only hotel in the area so the window is the most popular spot to view the sunset as the sun set over the peaks of the mountains many time with wonderful dramatic color. A popular pastime is to view the sunsets from the restaurant at the lodges which has a really nice view from their patio. . Gallery Canvas wrap

Gallery quality Canvas wraps are printed on a 400gsm semi-gloss white poly-cotton blend, specifically designed for the high-end fine art and photography markets. The canvas is then wrapped on a 1.5" stretcher framed and will have a mirrored edge. The gallery wrap arrives at your doorstep ready to hang. While canvas wraps are more expensive, there is no need for matting and framing. Print processing time 7-10 days.

The image you selected will be printed using the Dye Sublimation method, this is where your image is first printed onto a transfer paper with "dye" inks then "sublimated" into the aluminum sheet with heat and pressure. The inks are bonded with the ChromaLuxe® aluminum sheets for the best quality. These rich and colorful prints are then finished off with an a natural aluminum frame mount that pairs really well with the matching aluminum back and gives your print an elegant look. The frame is 3/4" deep which makes your image appear to be floating off the wall and will include a cleat hanger by default. If you would like a wire hanger please let me know. It is an archival heavyweight (308gsm) with a brilliant sheen and a bit of texture for added brilliance and resisting fingerprints and delivers true colors and rich detail.
