Dallas Psychedelic Traveling Man – A whismical creation of the 38 foot tall stainless steel robot sculpture in digital psychedelic colors that is shown walking through the Dallas area in an area known as the Deep Ellum. The deep ellum is the area where the rail road had once thrived now it part of the transit rail line. The sculpture was created with element of that area such as the rivet that would of been used on the rail road tracks, the bird because the area had been know for song bird, the guitar shaped head to represent the music in the area and the long legs as his desire to travel and a piece of each is including in all the traveling man series. Each segment comes from the past stories about the area that the artist incorporated into the sculpture. All of these element are meant to tie the history of the area together with a whimsical theme. Here he towers above the city transit train station at 38 feet as he walks along with his little bird on his arm with Dallas skyline in the background in the Deep Ellum area. The Deep Ellum area is a popular area with restaurants, bars, music, along with art galleries and other shops in the area. This is the only one images of traveling man series in Dallas. There are two more traveling man series to be seen in the same area, the banjo playing traveling man and the birth of the traveling man.
Dallas Skyline Pano Night 0056 – This is an panorama of the Dallas Skylines after dark with only the light from the high rise skyscrapers in view in the downtown area. This city skyline has all the usual iconic dallas buildings like the highly reflective Hyatt Regency Hotel, the Reunion Tower, Heritage Plaza, Fountain Place, Bank of America, to the alway colorful Omni Hotel in view plus many other high rise buildings in the city downtown. Dallas is located in north Texas and is a modern city with many varieties of commercial business along with being cultural hub of the region. Downtown’s Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza commemorates the site of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963. The city has a large Arts District, with the Dallas Museum of Art, the Crow Collection of Asian Art along with the Nasher Sculpture Center and many other art, music and culture entertainment areas. We stumble upon the Deep Ellum area on a Saturday night and I can say this place was a happening place with restaurants and music venues all through out this area. This is a vibrant city that offers a lot to tourist and loca who visit the downtown.

Houston Sunset Skyline Pano – Capture this aerial panorama of Houston Sunset Skyline right as the sun was setting and as it was going down it started to back light these wonderful clouds over the city with these wonderful colors of orange, pinks and yellows. We wanted to capture downtown Houston skyline with IH45 in view so an aerial was our best option so this area of the cityscape is looking at the Theater district of the city. Houston also has a reputation of a place to see top notched performing art along with access to several museums in the area. The Theater distric performing art has nine major performing art group along with six performance halls. You can see Opera, a plays, the ballet and any number of music events including the well known Houston Symphony Orchestra. Houston is a large city with a population around 2.3 million people which makes it the fourth most populous city in the US and the biggest in Texas and the southern US. The skyline of Houston is a very impressive site with some of the tallest modern skyscrapers buildings in the US. In this image you can see the Heritage Plaza, Chevron, Wells Fargo and the tallest building in Houston the J P Morgan Chase Tower at 1002 ft and it is the 17 tallest in the US. Houston is the seat of Harris county and was founded in 1837 near the banks of the Buffalo Bayou or Allen Landing as it is called today. The city was name after General San Houston after he won the battle of San Jacinto. Houston has been a growing city because of the port of houston and railroads along with oil boom from the early 1901. Houston has other industry that have made it thrive in america such as energy, manufacturing, aeronautics, and transportation. Also NASA mission control is located in the city. Houston has also taken the lead on health care with many people coming to the Medical Center for top notch doctors and hospital with the latest advancement in medical care. Houston stock.

Fall Austin Skyline Pano – We love fall Austin Skyline in this aerial pano show off very urban Austin skyline that captures the downtown and all the high rise buildings hugging the shoreline of Lady Bird Lake with the city and IH35 in view. Again the water had this nice reflection of the clouds and high rise buildings in the water along with the colorful fall trees along the banks. This Austin skyline image capture this urban landscape in fall of the Austin cityscape from the east side and shows some of the citys tallest buildings like the Austonian, the new Fairmont Hotel, with the top of the Frost just barely peeking above the crowd along the shoreline. Until they finish the Independent, the Austonian will remain the tallest in town at least for another year or more. You can just barely see the top of the State Capitol trying to peek above all the other high rise buildings in downtown but it is there at least for now. Austin is the fastest growing city in the US and the 11th most populous city and is the seat of the Texas State Capitol. At the last census this urban city had a population of just over 947,000 and growing. It is getting harder and harder to capture the Austin skyline without a dozen or so cranes in the photo.

San Antonio Skyline Pano
We captured this panorama of the San Antonio Skyline which includes the area along the riverwalk with the Tower of the Americas, light from the Alamo Dome, Tourch of Freedom and many other city business. The hotels in downtown are some ot the tallest buildings in the area the Marriott, the Hyatt, and the Hilton all tower above to give the city a beautiful skyline near the riverwalk.

Dallas Skyline Klyde Warren Park Night – Klyde Warren Park at night with the Dallas Skyline and the trees lit up in the park. The Klyde Warren Park is 5.2 acre park in the heart of the art district which sit over the Woodall Rodgers freeway in downtown Dallas. In the cityscape you can see some of the towering skyscrapers like the Chase Tower, Hunt oil building along with the Dallas Museum of Art. The park has a children’s play area, a dog park, open area for play or yoga, a restaurant, and on the days we were there they had many food trucks lined along the street to catch a quick bite to eat. Dallas Skyline Pano in Pink in Solidarity with Susan Komen Race for the Cure – A Dallas Skyline in Pink pano as the city celebrates another year of the Susan G Komen race for the cure in downtown part of the city. The Dallas skyline has some of the tallest buildings in Texas second only to Houston with the Bank of America being one of the tallest building in the Texas. The modern architecture in this cityscapes it what keeps us comming back to photograph such a beautify city. We were surprised when many of the high rise buildings in downtown were lit with pink for this years event. This is year 35 of the race in the city it started in, all to benefit rasing money to help find a cure for breast cancer. The city skyscrapers including the Reunion Tower, Bank of America along with the Omni Hotel all showed their solidarity by lighting up the Dallas Skylin in pink on the final day of the Susan B Komen Race for the Cure event in downtown Dallas. We were calling it a day when we turned around on the Dallas pedestrian bridge and saw this sun rays through the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge when we decided to catch another image of the cityscape from this location. This city pedestrian bridge has been renamed as the Ron Kirk Avenue Bridge previously it was called the continental avenue bridge. In any case this bridge in Dallas has become a landmark location for tourist and local to visit. On any day you can find family out with children playing in the play area, people walking, people taking photos, selfies, any kind of event can lead to a trip to the Ron Kirk Avenue Bridge. This is one of the most popular location in the city for families along with tourist to come and just hang out and take in the cities skyline views in downtown Dallas.d84-7353
We capture this Dallas Margaret Hunt Hill bridge at sunrise as a sun rays just pop up over the rail in the early morning in downtown with a city skyline in view. The sky filled with these clouds with wonderful pink and orange colors in the morning light over the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge. The Dallas Margaret Hunt Hill bridge has become a popular spot for locals and tourist alike, it is a beautiful bridge that is 400 ft high, which was designed by Santiago Calatrava the first part of the Trinity project. The bridge was complete in 2012 and has become a major landmark and iconic structure that has become a part of the cities skyline images that draw tourist and locals alike. Dallas skyline has some of the tallest skyscrapers like the Bank of America, Fountain Plaza, Chase Tower, and the popular Reunion Tower. The population for Dallas is almost 2 million but the Dallas Fort Worth area or DFW has a population over 7 million. Dallas got it root from the railroad when it was a major inland transportation hub for cotton, cattle and later on oil. It is now a modern city with some of the tallest buildings in Texas second only to Houston. It is the third most populous city in Texas after Houston and San Antonio. Dallas Margaret McDermott Bridge – The new Margaret McDermott Bridge in downtown Dallas with city skyline after dark. This is a steel bridge suspended with two arches over the Trinity River previously IH30 and is part of the Trinity project partially designed by Santiago Calatrava. This bridge is also designed to accomodate a pedestrian and bike path to join the the area other hike and bike trails. Also in this image is the Reunion Tower, the Bank of America Plaza, Renaissance Tower, Comercia Bank Tower, Omin Hotel, along with many other downtown high rise buildings.
