New Orleans Skyline BW – Another capture of this black and white panorama of the New Orleans skyline in downtown area around dusk as the high rise building light came on and it created this nice reflections in the Mississippi River. It was difficult to find a location to capture the city so we settled on the ferry landing to capture this pano of the New Orleans Skyline and because it was such a nice image we decided it would look even better as a black and white.
San Antonio Skyline at Twilight Pano – San Antonio skyline on prints, canvas and metal. San Antonio skyline at Twilight with two of the city landmarks in view the Tower of America and The Alamo Dome plus more. Also in view is the new Henry B Gonzales convention center along with all the other cities buildings. San Antonio is for the first time starting to change it skyline with serveral new building schedule like the Frost Bank building which will be finished sometime next year. We thought this was a color view of the city with it most popular high rise buildings like the Drury, the Tower Life building, Hyatt along with with many of the new buildings along with many on the way.
Austin Congress Bridge Bats – The Austin Congress Bridge Bat come out from under the bridge on a nightly basis from March to October every year. It draws a crowd of locals to tourist to see at least once while here. The Ann Richards Congress Bridge bat watch becomes almost a festival event now with hundreds of people on the bridge, on boats and along the hike and bike trail near the American statesman. There are people playing music, selling stuff, almost nightly. The bats can be seen from anywhere in this area but our favorite viewing area is at the bridge. There are something like 1.5 million Mexican Freetail bats that come out after the sun sets but in this time of year there are many more as the baby bat are now flying so there number increase. People come to Austin and along with the State Capital the bats are right there in popularity as a must see while here. Bridge bats show as we have done so many times before only this time we had bats! Yes the bats have been very elusive to us at times but it seems this is one of the best time of year to catch them. So we took another chance and went back into downtown Austin to see if we could capture a decent shot. The bats were all coming out at the same time in waves this time so the sky would explode with bats for at least five minutes and then they were gone or separating out to go their own ways. This image capture one of the many shots of the Austin Congress Bridge Bats we photographed on this night.
San Antonio Skyline Dusk – San Antonio Skyline images on canvas, metal, and print. This is an aerial image of the San Antonio skyline at dusk with this colorful clouds picking up the color from sunset. In this Texas aerial skyline view you can see the Tower of America, Tower Life building, Drury, Compass Bank, Grand Hyatt, along with the new George Gonzales convention center all in view with many other new buildings in the city. The tower life building is a historic site and city landmark in San Antonio. This image include many popular landmarks in this cityscape. San Antonio is a major city in south-central Texas with a rich colonial heritage. San Antonio is the seventh most populus city in the US. The city is in the southern part of central Texas but is considered part of the souther triangle.
We capture this New Orleans skyline in downtown area around dusk as the high rise building light came on and it created this nice reflections in the Mississippi River. There was stil a little color in the sky from the sunset just enough to gve it some pop over the cityscape with some oranges and pinks mingle with the dark clouds. This New Orlean skyline pano was taken from across the Mississippi River at dusk. The view of the city high rise buildings along the shore line makes for a nice image as the building reflect in the water shortly after sunset. New Orleans is the largest city in the state of Louisiana population of around 1.5 million people. The city attract tourist from all over the world with its many popular neighborhoods such as the famous French Quarters, Jackson Square and many more area of interest. Beside Bourbon street and french quarter there are plenty of wonderful restaurants in the area. New Orleans also has a lot of things to do such as World War Museum, Art Museums, Aquarium, or even a visit to the city cementaries, plus you can enjoy a visit to the Superdome home of the New Orleans Saints. There are riverboats rides along the Mississippi River just some of the thing available to do in the city. Not to mention the wonderful architecture you see through out the city.
