Queen Isabella Causeway after Dark Pano

Queen Isabella Causeway after Dark Pano – Looking out on the Queen Isabella Causeway after dark you can still see a little color left in the sky from the sunset earlier in the evening. This bridge is two miles long and is the only route in to South Padre Island. The light on the bridge are reflecting back in the water after dark. The Queen Isabella Causeway is about two miles long and is the sole source for getting to the island from the mainland by vehicals. In 2001 a barge hit the bridge and destroyed a 160 foot section and till it was rebuilt the people had to travel by ferry to get to and from the island for several months till it was repair. Also a special note for those who lost their lives on that tragic night.

Houston Skyline at Twilight

Houston Skyline at Twilight – Houston skyline at twilight right after the sun goes down and the lights come on the buildings in downtown Houston light up and you have the blue hour or twilight. The blue hour or twilight is when the sky is still blue and the lights shine through to show this vibrant city in downtown with this great skyline in the background. The Eleanor Tinley Park run along the Allen Parkway and Memorial Drive with the Buffalo Bayou snaking it way through the park. After dark you can see the lights at the Jamail skate park along the townhouses next to the Allen Parkway with a little light still from the sun set earlier still reflecting off some of the buildings. Houston has some of the tallest skyscrapers in the south, it is a city that was made from the energy industry. Some used to say Houston has it cows and it oil, but things have changed a lot since I grew up here for this vibrant diverse city with many business including banking, tech and several universities like Rice, University of Houston not to mention a top place for art, music, museums, and some top knotch sports team like the Astros and along with many others things to do and see in the city. This is our latest capture of Houston using our drone to capture another great Texas aerial. Also available as a panorama.

Austin Skyline From Above Pano – Another Aerial Austin skyline with the latest view along Lady Bird Lake with the hike and bike trail along the waters edge at twilight. This austin skyline includes the new tallest building in the cityscape the Independent or Jingle as some call it, plus our second tallest the Austonian, plus the Google new home, the Northshore condos which have been added recently, along with the W building, the Bowie, the Ashton and another new one at the far end the Fairmont Hotel and so many others its hard to name them all. Oh lets not forget the Frost building just barely peeping out from behind the Ashton and other new arrivals. Another city high rise you can just barely see anymore is the Austin 360 as the new high rises have almost completely block its view from here. Austin is a fast growing city with all of it sky-scrapers built in the last ten year so it is has a modern cityscape in downtown and is constantly changing for good or bad. Much of the growth of the city growth has been the large number of high tech companies which have move here to the city in the last five year or so. Austin is also the state capital and it is home to a major school the University of Texas. The city contines to draw tourist and people wanting to vist or live in this lively modern city with it well know night life being the music capital of the world and it great life style. However with that said I must mention the draw back from the increase traffic which can be a complete night mare at time. 8332

This is another Austin skyline aerial image of the Austin twilight view looking down Lady Bird Lake with the city modern high rise buildings along the shoreline of the lake and looking north over IH35 where you can see the UT stadium and Erwin Center in the distant view. You can see Austin tallest building the Austonian which for a few months longer will hold that title till the Independent is completed sometime before the end of the year. It has been hard to capture images of Austin skyline from anywhere along the hike and bike trail because they are constantly adding new building along the shoreline. About the time you think they are done new cranes show up. Just recently found out that we will have two new buildings along the town lake shoreline once more and they will be taller than the Independent so its title will not last long. Just like all good things they don’t last long you can barely see the top of the Frost building, at one time it was the tallest building in the skyline. The cityscape has been constantly changing for years and I guess until all the land is gone it will continue. Actually from this spot in the 70’s you had a straight on view of the Texas Capital those days have been gone for many years now.

Best Fort Worth Skyline and Cityscape Images

These are a few of the best Fort Worth skylines and cityscapes images of this north Texas city available for print on canvas, metal and fine art prints. Fort Worth is a fast growing city and is the fith largest city in the state of Texas, it is also the 16th largest in the USA. Fort Worth was once a bustling cattle trading industry around 19th century when it was part of the cattle drives of Chisholm trail. The city was founded in 1849 as an army outpost and was located on a bluff overlooking the Trinity River. These past events were what gave Fort Worth it name of cow town and to this day it still maintains it western heritage. Today Ft Worth is a modern city with several universities like TCU and A&M university, top ranted museums like the Kimbell Art Museum and the Amon Carter of American Museum, several fortune 500 companies like Bell Hellicopter, Lockheed Martin, American Airline, Pier 1, to name a few. dsc08861

Twilight Fort Worth Skyline Pano –  We capture this aerial panorama image of a twilight Fort Worth skyline pano with the Seventh Street bridge as it crosses the Trinity River in downtown. The 7th street bridge was lighted with purple led light so it really popped in this image of the cityscape. The seventh street bridge led light seem to change colors every day so that was a nice treat. Fort Worth is the fifth largest city in Texas. Fort Worth is located in central north part of Texas and the county seat is Tarrant County. The latest census is that the population for Fort Worth is estimates, at around 854,113. The city is the second-largest in the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area or the DFW Metro. We like this aerial twilight Fort Worth Skyline pano over the city. Thanks for looking.

The city is the second-largest in the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area or the DFW Metro as some refer to it. Fort Worth Cityscape at Sunrise – We loved the view from this location of the Fort Worth cityscape as the seventh street bridge crosses over the Trinity River at sunrise and draws the eye to the colorful early morning skyline in downtown right before the sun comes up. Fort Worth is the fifth largest city in Texas and the second largest in DFW Metro area. Orginally Fort Worth was a army outpost located along the bluff of the Trinity river but today it is now a modern city with many excellent museums like the Kimbell Art Museum. The city did retain some of it western history and they are in full display at the Stockyard where you can see the walk of honor with stars for many western figures like Wyatt Earp and Buffalo Bill Cody and the cowboy hall of fame. Now the area is mostly a western theme for shopping and dinning with that old timey historic feel theme shopping.

We love the look of the cityscape along the river from this location. However, this location is not a safe place as once we stopped Fort Worth PD show up to warn us that they would rob us and steal our car so not to stick around too long. We had intended to come back later but decided maybe not the best idea. In any case this little cow town is all grow up.

Cattle Drive at StockYards –  Another capture of the longhorn being hearded down the street at the Cattle Drive Stockyard in Fort Worth. The Fort Worth Stockyards now celebrates Fort Worth’s long tradition as a part of the cattle industry with a cattle drive down the street as they would of done back in the day. The city has long been known as a cow town probably because of the Stockyards. The Fort Worth Stockyard is now listed on the National Register as a historical district since 1976. The Stockyards consist of mainly entertainment and shopping venues today that capitalize on the ‘Cowtown’ theme of Fort Worth. The Leddy boot company is located in the heart of the Stockyard along with the Maverick Fine Western wear. Also there saloons where customers ‘can ‘belly up’ to the bar, relax and have a cold beer while in the Stockyards; just like they did in the days of the cattle drives. Many bars and nightclubs are located in the vicinity, and the area has a Western motif. There is also an opry and a rodeo. The Fort Worth Stockyards are the last standing stockyards in the United States. On April 1, 2011, the Fort Worth Stockyards Stables were remodeled and reopened. They are located next door to the Hyatt hotel in an original Historic Stockyards building that was built in 1912. These stables offer full care boarding, overnight boarding, hourly boarding, horse rentals on the open trails of the Trinity River and carriage rides. Boarders can ride their horses all around the Historic Stockyard

McLane Stadium Baylor University Waco Texas

We captured the McLane Stadium in Waco owned and operated by Baylor University and home to the Baylor Bears in this aerial panorama at sunset. Using our aerial camera we were able to capture this panorama with the Brazos river and the McLane stadium plus the cable stay bridge just as the sky picked up these wonderful colors of oranges and pinks and blue at sunset. You can see the light were on in the blue phase on the cable stay bridge on IH35 which help to enhance this image of the stadium. The cable stay bridge is slowly changing color after dusk and with this incredible colors of oranges, pinks and yellow at twilight we felt we had succeeded in a nice image of the stadium. The stadium was just complete in 2014 and has a seating capacity of 45,140 and is expandable to 55,000. The stadium is located on the north bank of the Brazos river and fan can arrive at the stadium by boat and they can tailgait in the Baylor Basin next to the stadium. Not every universtiy can boast that feature. The unique horseshoe design of the stadium leave one side open to the brazos river and the university.. The name was changed to McLane Stadium in December 2013 to honor alumnus and business magnate Drayton McLane, Jr., who provided the lead gift for the stadium construction. The cost of the stadium was 266 million dollars to complete. The goal was to build a first class stadium for Baylor University and bring it back to campus but also to serve not only as the front door to Baylor University but also as the East anchor of downtown Waco and also contribute to the growth of Waco along with development along the Brazos Riverfront.

Baylor McLane Stadium Sunset Pano – This is an aerial panorama capture of the Baylor University McLane Stadium in Waco with this view looking back over the waters of the Brazos river and the IH 35 stay bridge that runs along the side of the stadium just as the sun set and the sky lite up with colors of pink, reds, and orange glow. This stadium is part of the Baylor University campus and is home to the Baylor Bears team. A wonderful new stadium for Baylor and in this image we were able to capture this as an aerial panorama with this wonderful sunset looking back up the Brazos river towards the new stay bridge with their blue lights on. Sometime you just can’t capture an image from the ground and an aerial image allows us the ability to get a better vantage point where we were able to capture a better view of the stadium plus the blue led lighted stay bridge on IH35 or Jack Kultgen Freeway which goes over the Brazos river in Waco all in one shot with this wonderful sunset as a backdrop. This stay bridge is relativity new and has the ability to change to different colored led lights that slowly cycle to different colors phases around dusk which pops much better with this nice sunset glow you can see they were in their blue phase at this time which was a perfect backdrop for this image. Good sunset are hard to find and on this day we were bless with a great one but not enough time to send the drone up again. Next time maybe!

We captured this image of the McLane Stadium at Baylor University right at twilight as the sky was lighting the clouds with these wonderful pink color over the stadium on the north bank of Brazos river. You can also see the soft green lights in the stadium that we thought made this image pop. This stadium offically open in August 2014 against the SMU where the Bears were able to defeat them 45-0. This is a good size stadium that has a capacity of 45,140 and can be expanded to 55,000 if needed. This stadium also sits on the north side of the Brazos River and their is a nice pedestrian bridge to cross over the Brazos river so people can cross from the university or can catch a ride on a boat. This is probably the only stadium that fans can arrive by boat and tailgate in the Baylor Basin next to the stadium.

Sunset Over McLane Stadium –  Another catch of the Waco Baylor Bears McLane stadium as the sunset left these wonderful pink clouds in the sky from across the Brazos river with the cool green glowing lights on inside the stadium on this evening right after sunset going into twilight. We are so glad we were able to capture this wonderful architecture of the McLane Stadium. This stadium architecture is unique and very attractive along the seating set up to look across the Brazos river to universtiy campus. We love the beauty of this new stadium I am sure the Baylor Bears are very proud of this new iconic landmark to their city.

We wanted to show a capture after dark of the McLane stadium in Waco in a panorama. This stadium is owned and operated by Baylor University. It is a beautiful stadium day or night with the Brazos river on one side and IH35 on the other side. After dark you can see the McLane Stadium with all the lights on which gives an impressive site from across the water with nice reflections of the lights in the Brazos River and in this pano you can also see the lights on the pedestrian crossing bridge over the river from the campus of Baylor University. You will also note the soft green lights inside the seating which give a ghostly look to the stadium at night. This stadium was just completed and officaly opened in August 2014 for their first game with SMU which they defeated 45-0 a good beginning game. The stadium features the Baylor club, a dining and event spaced on the west side. In addition to sporting events Baylor and city of Waco plan to host concerts and other city events in the stadium. In addition the stadium has a large HD LED video board for viewing plays. The board is 5,029 square feet, ranking as the 13th largest college football video board in the nation at the time it opened. This new stadium is part of a plan to be the front door to Waco and enhance the growth along the Brazos and downtown Waco.

McLane Stadium Twilight Pano – Another capture of the McLane Stadium with the building and pedestrian bridge in a pano with the lights on against a twilight blue hour sky with with clouds left over from sunset for a stunning look.  The Brazos river capture some nice reflections from the lights of the McLane Stadium where the Baylor University Bears play their games.  We capture this as a panorama so you can also see the the pedestrian bridge that crosses over the Brazos river in this panorama.
