Texas Wildflowers Along the Fence – A field of Texas wildflowers along the fence in the hill country. The Texas hill country has some of the best wildflowers that appear from March through late summer. The indian blankets are some some of my favorite because they do seem to create a blanket effect over this area. The indian blanket or mexican hats grow to about two feet tall which allows them to be above the grasses. There are a mix of indian blankets and some yellow wildflowers that appear to be part of the aster family maybe bear foot. In any case Texas has some of the best spring wildflower in a natural landscape around.
