Here are the latest images of the Austin 360 bridge taken at sunset. We had not been to this location in a while to capture the Pennybacker bridge or Austin 360 bridge from this location which it is more commonly called. The bridge sits on the hwy 360 which is the main road, but the actual name of the bridge is the Percy V. Pennybacker Jr. Bridge in Austin, Texas. Most refer to the bridge as the Austin 360 bridge or the Austin Pennybacker bridge. The bridge connects the south to the north section of the Capital of Texas Highway or as many called it the Loop 360 highway. There are several overlooks of the 360 bridge but today we decided to come down to park and fly our new Airpeak Sony drone with it 60 megapixel Sony camera to hopefully capture a nice sunset in full resolution. We took the drone up as the sunset was just begining to set in the sky and capture a round of landscapes photos of the bridge with a wonderful golden glow. As with the larger drones the time in the air is shorter but the resolution is so much better. We waited till the sun went down and notice that the sky was beginning to back light the skies with these pink colored clouds over the bridge and lake Austin. So we took the aerial camera back up to capture this moment in time and the sky was beautiful with it twillight colors of pink sky. The twilight clouds highlighted Lake Austin and the 360 bridge landscapes with this wonderful pink glow after the sun set in the sky. Pretty close to perfect night at the Pennybacker Bridge.
