Aerial Austin Skyline at Twilight Pano

Aerial Austin Skyline at Twilight Pano - We capture this Austin skyline looking east down Lady Bird lake at twilight where we had some colorful sky with some pinks and violets at the blue hour. This is our favorite time to capture the Austin Skyline right after sunset. Many call this sky a violet crown as Austin has been know for these kind of sunsets and sunrises. Their was just enough light on the buildings in this aerial panorama to make it a success. We have taken this photo many times from here as the skyline is constantly changing with new high rise buildings being added all the time. This is the latest Austin skyline with the three tallest high rise condos with the tallest being the Sixth and Guadalupe, the Independent, and the Austonian but the biggest change has been the addition of the Google building which look similar to a sail mast along the shoreline. We capture this using a full frame Sony 60 megapixels camera with a 85 mm lens on our drone so we were able to capture the city closer from this location. There are several bridges along Lady Bird lake with the closest in the image being the Lamar bridge then the pedestrian bridge, along with first street and congress bridge down the river. This is part of the Colorado river chain called the Highland lakes and feed from upstream lakes starting at Lake Buchanan which flows through many other lakes on it way to Lake Travis, then on to lake Austin, to Lady Bird lake or town lake as many still call it, it continues it flow through the city as it makes it way down to the coast.
