Austin Skyline Fall Panorama

Austin Skyline Fall Panorama - We captured this photo of the Austin skyline from the boardwalk along the hike and bike trail with these high rises buildings as crowd along the shore. Austin is the capitol of Texas and we have several universities along with the largest state school the University of Texas and it is also a hub for High Tech companies like IBM, Intel, Dell, AMD, CSC, and many other. Also Austin has promoted itself as being the Live Music Capital with a good number of musical event going on at any time in this city. In the Austin area in the 1970 and 80 the Capital was one of the tallest buildings in the skyline for the city, that is no longer true in the last ten or so year we have a resurgence of building in the downtown area mostly from new high-rise living condos like the Austin 360 and the tallest at 56 stories is Austonian Condos along with several new downtown hotels which have been built recently and a new high rise hotel at 50 stories the Fairmont is coming soon to our skyline which is constantly evolving. Even though I miss the old days the skyline for this city is a very impressive site and it has been photography by just about everyone living here I think. Austin has an impressive skyline from the shore of Ladybird Lake which is goes along the city and from just about anywhere you go on the hike and bike trails you can find a great view of the city. You can easy see the Austonian which is the tallest at 56 story from just about anywhere and the other high rises like the Austin 360 and the Frost Bank building as the third tallest in the city along with the new Marriot Hotel as it latest edition to our skyline in this photograph. We thought the trees along the lake were nice displaying their fall colors which contrast nicely with the blue sky and waters of the town lake, since we usually don't get much fall colors in this area so we like this capture. The city skyline of Austin is constantly changing and shows no sign of slowing down, at least for now. Photo © copyright by Bee Creek Photography - Tod Grubbs / Cynthia Hestand.
