Galveston Pleasure Pier Pano - When you drive down the seawall in Glaveston it is almost magical to see the amusement park out extended over the water with the 100 ft ferris wheel at the very end. You can image that a family could spend a good part of a day here just riding the rides and playing the games till they were too beat to go on or ran out of money whichever came first. We took this photo from the breakers across the water for a little different view of the Galveston Historic Pleasure Pier taken from one of the many granite breakers along the beach. This amusement park stood in this same spot from 1943 to 1961 when Hurricane Carla destroyed it. Then the Flagship Hotel was placed on the site till it was destroyed in 2008 by Hurricane Ike so the Pleasure Pier was brought back and hopefully will not get destroyed by the next hurricane. These granite breakers can be seen all along the coast as they help break the undertow in this area that why swimming is not a good idea in this spot. Gallery Canvas wrap

Gallery quality Canvas wraps are printed on a 400gsm semi-gloss white poly-cotton blend, specifically designed for the high-end fine art and photography markets. The canvas is then wrapped on a 1.5" stretcher framed and will have a mirrored edge. The gallery wrap arrives at your doorstep ready to hang. While canvas wraps are more expensive, there is no need for matting and framing.

The image you selected will be printed using the Dye Sublimation method, this is where your image is first printed onto a transfer paper with "dye" inks then "sublimated" into the aluminum sheet with heat and pressure. The inks are bonded with the ChromaLuxe® aluminum sheets for the best quality. These rich and colorful prints are then finished off with an a natural aluminum frame mount that pairs really well with the matching aluminum back and gives your print an elegant look.
