Grant Zebra Vertical - The Grant Zebra is the smallest of zebras. The zebra native range is in Africa where it roam the grasslands and savannas looking for grass to eat. The zebra is in the same family as the horse the Equidae. Zebras live in herd groups where there is a stallion, mares with offspring. The male is usually in the back of the herd protecting the herd from predators such as lions, lepards and hyenas. The zebra has a powerful kick and can do some serious damage. Zebras can also run 40 miles an hour to get away from predators. The grant zebra is not endangered but the they have been killed to prevent them from grazing on land they graze their livestock on.
