Longhorn Calf in Bluebonnets
Longhorn Calf in Bluebonnets - This probably was my favorite bluebonnet image this year of this longhorn calf laying in a field of wildflowers. The longhorn cattle is a symbol of Texas southwest and known for their docil temperment. The longhorn can come in many different patterns and color including spotted. Longhorns are a hardy breed of cattle and can live off the land and can go a while without water. They also have some of the biggest horns of any cattle some have been known to be ten feet across. This cute little calf was probably just a few weeks old as it still had it cord attached from mom. It was such a pretty little thing laying there in that nice patch of bluebonnets. We were hoping mom would come over and check on the baby but she was busy eating elsewhere. Photo © copyright by Bee Creek Photo.
Canvas wraps are printed on white archival poly-cotton blend matte canvas. The canvas is wrapped on a 1.5" stretcher framed and finished with a durable black backing. The gallery wrap arrives at your doorstep ready to hang. After an order is submitted, the canvas usually arrives within 5-6 business days. While canvas wraps are more expensive, there is no need for matting and framing. After a fine art print is matted and framed, the cost is often equivalent or even slightly more than a canvas wrap.
