Looking Glass Falls Vertical B W

Looking Glass Falls Vertical B W - Took this picture of looking glass falls in the Smoky Mountains National Park in black and white. Looking Glass Falls is one of the most popular and easily accessable waterfalls in North Carolina. The name "Looking Glass" comes from Looking Glass Rock, in the winter the water freezes on the rocks and when the sun hits it appears like a mirror. Also, Looking Glass Creek, which flows past the rock, is also named for the unique and impressive natural structure. Along the bottom you see all the slate and granite as the waters flow down the creek.  This is just one of so many waterfalls in the Smoky Mountains off the blue ridge parkway that can be found in the Smokies.  .
