Pre-Dawn Austin Skyline Pano

06-30-2022

Pre-Dawn Austin Skyline Pano - We capture this in the early hours before sunrise as the sky was just lightin up but the building still had their lights on. We like the Austin skyline pano from Butler Park with the Doug Sahm hill in view where the it just had a hint of color and all the light were on the buildings along the waterfront of Lady Bird lake. You also see a hint of Palmer Auditorian. This is the most complete skyline for Austin along the shoreline of town lake for now it will change in the next year as several new highrises are scheduled to go up in the next couple of years. The Austin constant changing skyline keeps us on our toes. As we have to pick the right time to capture new shots. Of course this is not new as the Austin skyline has been changing for the last ten years. This is just one of many locations to capture a photo of the city of Austin. In this image you see three of the taller buildings like the tallest for now the Independent, and second the Austonian, and with the newest edition the second Google building which looks a little like a sail mast. Many come to Butler park to capture the city skyline from Doug Sahm hill which rises up slightly so you can capture the skyline from here, it has become a popular place for people to watch the city lights come on at night. Austin is a growing and popular city it also has many issues like any other city such as traffic and taxes. However, Austin has a lot to offer with plenty of parks, hike and bike trails, music events, clubs, museums, plays, great restaurants, etc that why it is such a popular place to live. Austin is the location for the State Capital along with a thriving tech business such as IBM, Dell, Google, Intel, and many more. Also Austin is home to the University of Texas, and now boast the new soccer stadium called FC Austin Arena so there is alway something going on.
