Red and Yellow Firewheel - Usually we show this beautiful flower in groups, but I wanted to show the natural beauty of this wildflower by itself. This wonderful wildflower is another variation of the firewheel or indian blanket flower as they are called. We love these flower with the red to pinkish color with the tips that seem to be dipped in yellow paint. Natures beauties flowers that can be seen in the Texas hill country from April through June in most cases. This is a wonderful flower mostly seen in fields are pastures where they can be so dense they appear to be a blanket across the fields. Firewheels or Indian Blanket another name for them, is a popular annual growing 1-2+ ft. tall. Firewheel wildflowers are a member of the aster family known as Gaillardia pulchella. The flower itself have showy flower heads with rays of red at base, tipped with yellow, some can be just red, or just yellow it depends and most of the time they are a mix of many colors. Next to bluebonnets these are my some of favorite for their masses cover over the ground with reds and yellows across fields, pasture, and along the roadside. Gallery Canvas wrap

Gallery quality Canvas wraps are printed on a 400gsm semi-gloss white poly-cotton blend, specifically designed for the high-end fine art and photography markets. The canvas is then wrapped on a 1.5" stretcher framed and will have a mirrored edge. The gallery wrap arrives at your doorstep ready to hang. While canvas wraps are more expensive, there is no need for matting and framing.

The image you selected will be printed using the Dye Sublimation method, this is where your image is first printed onto a transfer paper with "dye" inks then "sublimated" into the aluminum sheet with heat and pressure. The inks are bonded with the ChromaLuxe® aluminum sheets for the best quality. These rich and colorful prints are then finished off with an a natural aluminum frame mount that pairs really well with the matching aluminum back and gives your print an elegant look.
