Wildflowers Windfall at Dawn

Wildflowers Windfall at Dawn - A new upload of wildflower windfall at sunrise was a perfect morning for this abundance of wildflowers with a windmill in the distance just as some color appear to back light the area. We had found this field the day before and decided to come back the next day and photograph it with the galaxy at around 5 am in the morning which was a two hour drive just to get here. So once we lost our stars we started getting some back light glow over this field and took a shot, but it did not face east so we ran to another field, but were disappointed with the look. So then we were trying to figure out next place and we said let go capture the same field with the windmill again. Wildflowers image can change looks with the time of day you photograph them so we came back here and took some more as you can see in the collections. We love to capture these wildflower images of our great Texas landscapes in the spring. Wildflowers can be difficult to capture it depends on how much wind there is, and a whole lot of other things. Some you can compensate for some you can't. In any case we were able to capture these with very little wind which was great. This was probably the most dense field of Texas bluebonnets and indian paintbrush also known as prairie-fire we found this year. Texas wildflowers are something we look forward to every spring this year the Texas hill country pretty much did not have the lupines or the indian paint brush come up because we are in sever drought. So we decided to head east toward Brenham and just drove around in Washington and Austin county where they got the rains and we are glad we did as we found some great places to capture texas wildflowers. Most of our find were on back roads so this year flowers were not the bust we thought they might be. Photo © copyright by Bee Creek Photography - Tod Grubbs / Cynthia Hestand.
