Dorgan House Window View BW - This ruins are what is left of the Dorgan House which was built by Albert Dorgan in 1930 in what is now Big Bend National park in black and white. Today all that remain are the ruins of the front walls of the house and a petrified fireplace along the Dorgan-Sublett Trail. This is on the the Dorgan-Sublett Trail which is off the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive, in Big Bend National Park. In the 1930s, Dorgan and his wife built their 1,200 square foot, single story, adobe and stone house on the ranch property. At one point Dorgan and Sublett his father in law built an extensive farming irrigation project along the Rio Grande river. They moved from the area eight years later I am sure the difficulty of the desert got the best of them. From this window they had a nice view of Santa Elena Canyon where the Rio Grande river flows through. Today there is very little left but it is a short walk to see ruins of what was the home of Albert Dorigan and wife along the trail. Gallery quality Canvas wraps are printed on a 400gsm semi-gloss white poly-cotton blend, specifically designed for the high-end fine art and photography markets. The canvas is then wrapped on a 1.5" stretcher framed and will have a mirrored edge. The gallery wrap arrives at your doorstep ready to hang.
