Linn Cove Viaduct

Linn Cove Viaduct - We travel the Blue Ridge Parkway to see this section of the parkway that wraps around Grandfather Mountain in autumn. The colors were great but it was difficult to capture a shot because it was packed on this day. The Linn Cove Viaduct hugs the face of Grandfather Mountain and is recognized internationally as an engineering marvel. It took years to finish this last section of the parkway and was finally completed in 1987. This was the last section of the Parkway to be completed and a model of the construction technique highlights a visit to the Linn Cove Visitor Center. The image you selected will be printed onto high resolution archival Metallic Photo paper using Epson archival inks. This paper gives your HD Acrylic Print a luminous and iridescent appearance. If lit from the front you will get that same stunning look you see in galleries! The print will be covered by a 1/4" clear acrylic and backed by a 1/8" Black Sintra then finished off with an a black aluminum frame mount that pairs really well with the matching Black Sintra back and gives your print an elegant look. The frame is 3/4" deep which makes your image appear to be floating off the wall and will include a cleat hanger by default.

Gallery Canvas wrap

Gallery quality Canvas wraps are printed on a 400gsm semi-gloss white poly-cotton blend, specifically designed for the high-end fine art and photography markets. The canvas is then wrapped on a 1.5" stretcher framed and will have a mirrored edge. The gallery wrap arrives at your doorstep ready to hang. While canvas wraps are more expensive, there is no need for matting and framing.

The image you selected will be printed using the Dye Sublimation method, this is where your image is first printed onto a transfer paper with "dye" inks then "sublimated" into the aluminum sheet with heat and pressure. The inks are bonded with the ChromaLuxe® aluminum sheets for the best quality. These rich and colorful prints are then finished off with an a natural aluminum frame mount that pairs really well with the matching aluminum back and gives your print an elegant look. The frame is 3/4" deep which makes your image appear to be floating off the wall and will include a cleat hanger by default. If you would like a wire hanger please let me know.

The fine art prints are created on 100% exhibition grade luster paper. It is an archival heavyweight (308gsm) with a brilliant sheen and a bit of texture for added brilliance and resisting fingerprints and delivers true colors and rich detail. It's archival lifespan is 100+ years.
